SUMMARY:Microscopy and Spectroscopy Techniques for Nanomaterial Characterization
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Jason Giuliani and Dr. Neda Habibi from Northwest Vista College\, San Antonio \nThis professional development will educate and train participants on the working operation\, capabilities and demonstration of different microscopy and spectroscopy techniques such as AFM\, SEM\, FIB\, TEM and X-RD. The workshop will be offered virtually in summer 2021. Topics for each day includes: 1) Introducing application of microscopes in industry and research\, Atomic Force Microscopy demonstration\, 2) Scanning Electron Microscope capabilities and demonstrations\, 3) Focused Ion Beam capabilities and demonstration\, 4) Transmission Electron Microscopy introduction and demonstration\, 5) X-ray Diffraction introduction and demonstration. \nThis workshop is full.
