SUMMARY:High Vacuum System Operation Basics Workshop at Normandale Community College
DESCRIPTION:Vacuum Technology instructor Tom Johnson will facilitate a 90-minute online workshop session on High Vacuum System Operation Basics.  The first workshop will be held on Monday\, December 12\, 2022\, from noon – 1:30 pm CT.  The same workshop will also be offered on Wednesday\, December 14\, 2022\, again from noon – 1:30 pm CT. \nParticipants will learn the basic sequence of operation for a simple high vacuum system.  Participants will also have the opportunity to practice performing a basic sequence of operation through remote access to Normandale’s Vacuum Equipment Trainer system. \nEach workshop is limited to 30 participants. \nNormandale’s Vacuum Technology classes are geared toward educating individuals who will work as technicians to support maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum systems in manufacturing and research settings.  Participants will receive information about how to register for Normandale’s spring semester 2023 classes. \n(A) Monday\, December 12 noon – 1:30 PM CT Workshop \nRegister in advance for the 12/12 workshop. \nOR  \n(B) Wednesday\, December 14 noon – 1:30 PM CT Workshop \nRegister in advance for the 12/14 workshop. \n
