SUMMARY:Microelectronics Semiconductor Research Community Virtual Workshop (CHIPS Act of 2022)
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, September 8 and Friday\, September 9\, 2022\, from 12PM to 3:30PM (EST)\, please join to discuss ideas surrounding semiconductor workforce development and academic infrastructure and to hear the speakers’ perspectives about trends in semiconductor R&D and advanced manufacturing. \nThe two-day online workshop aims to examine how the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure can interact with the various components of the CHIPS Act of 2022.  The workshop content will be used to create a report that could inform CHIPS funding as it relates to USICA\, NSTC\, NAMP\, the Microelectronics Commons\, NSF Engines\, and FuSe. The workshop will combine invited talks by leading researchers in academia and industry with panel discussions to develop concrete action items to address the CHIPS initiative. \nRegistration Link in Details Box Below via Stanford University. \nMore details about the workshop can be found in the PDF attachment linked below.
